Professional Experience

Kubishi Research Group

Computer Science Undergraduate Research Assistant

Los Angeles, CA

September 2025 - present

At Kubishi Research Group, I work part-time on developing and analyzing different algorithms for task scheduling on distributed computing systems. I contribute to Kubishi's project SAGA (Scheduling Algorithms Gathered), an open-source framework that evaluates dozens of scheduling algorithms across randomized data sets. One of my main projects involved exploring and implementing a task duplication strategy, where certain tasks are intentionally duplicated to reduce overall computing time and cost. This work has the potential to improve how large research labs, cloud systems, and AI workloads manage heavy computations—making them more reliable, cost-effective, and scalable.
